What I do
Malware & slow machines
Virus and malware removal, cleaning up the system and everything that launches itself at startup. The most common reason a computer 'went mad'.
Windows reinstall
A clean install with all drivers and the software you actually use. I move your data across if it's readable from the disk.
Upgrades
SSD, RAM, graphics, power supply. A three-year-old machine usually needs an upgrade rather than replacing — I'll tell you when that's worth it and when it isn't.
Cleaning & thermal paste
Dust and dried-out thermal paste are why a machine chokes and shuts down under load. Physical cleaning and paste replacement.
NAS & backups
Setting up network storage and automatic backups, so company data doesn't live on one machine under a desk.
Other IT work
Network, printers, email, setting up new machines. Not sure whether your problem fits here? Ask — I'll tell you if I can do it and what it would cost.
How it works
1 — Tell me what's wrong
Call or write what the machine does (or doesn't do). The description usually tells me roughly what's going on.
2 — Drop off, or I collect
You bring the machine in, or by arrangement I come and collect it in Osijek.
3 — Price, then repair
I tell you what it is and what it costs before doing anything. If it isn't worth repairing, I'll tell you that too.

Hardware is the one service I can't do remotely, so I work with businesses in Osijek and nearby. You bring the machine in, or I collect it by arrangement.
Frequently asked questions
What does it cost?
Per job, not per hour. Once I hear or see what it is, you get a fixed price before I start. I don't like invoices that say '3 h labour' with no explanation.
Do you work on laptops?
Depends on the model and the fault. Upgrades and cleaning usually yes; some laptops are glued shut to the point where repair isn't worth it. I'll look and tell you before taking anything apart.
Can you recover data from a failed drive?
No. Data recovery from a damaged drive is a specialist job needing equipment I don't have, and I won't pretend otherwise. I'll point you to someone who does it.
Do you work on Apple devices?
No. I work with Windows machines. For a Mac I'd rather send you to someone who does it daily.
Do you offer a monthly maintenance contract?
I don't sell a retainer if you don't need one. Most small offices need a couple of interventions a year, not a monthly subscription.
